Canada’s Wonderland does not provide storage facilities for musical instruments. Please ensure that your bus will be staying at the Park in order to store your equipment. If your bus cannot stay, we recommend that you rent a van or that a parent volunteer uses their van/vehicle for storage purposes. Canada’s Wonderland is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen instruments. If something is lost, and found by our staff then it will be taken to Lost and Found at Guest Services. Please contact the Lost and Found Department at Front Gate Guest Services.
It is very important that you try to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your performance time to allow enough time for ticket and season pass scanning and security checks. If you need to pick up tickets from the Front Gate please allow enough time to do so. If you are late, we will try and accommodate you at a later time, but we cannot guarantee that you will get to perform.

Each group is assigned a 30 minutes of stage time to set up, warm up, perform, and tear down. Groups are not permitted to share 30 minute time slots due to scheduling concerns. It is extremely important that you do not exceed your assigned performance time as you will cut into another group’s schedule. Canada’s Wonderland reserves the right to end your performance if you exceed the time allotted to you. Canada’s Wonderland reserves the right to keep your deposit should you not adhere to the rules and regulations.

We kindly request that your group remain in the performance venue for at least 30 minutes after your performance or arrive 30 minutes prior to your performance. This not only provides an audience for all groups, but also gives your group the opportunity to be exposed to other bands and choirs for educational purposes.
We kindly request that your group wear similar colours or band attire however it is not required. If your students have to change, public washrooms are located inside Front Gate (Main) Entrance, in the Kingswood area, and inside WonderMountain. We do not have designated change rooms.
Canada’s Wonderland no longer has a designated bus entrance. All buses are required to enter the Park through our main entrance located off Jane Street on Rutherford Road.

If you are coming north on highway 400, please exit at Rutherford Road. and proceed straight into the parking lot.

If you are coming south on highway 400 please exit at Major Mackenzie Drive. Turn left at the exit and then right onto Jane Street. Proceed until you find our Park entrance, make a right into the parking lot.

All groups attending the Festival of Music will park in Parking Lot C. Parking Lot C is located right outside of Gate 5, where groups enter with their instruments when it is time for their performance. Please ask a parking toll representative if you are unsure of where Parking Lot C is. Please note that if you are driving a vehicle, you may be required to pay for parking.
There will be security personnel located at Gate 5 and the Front Gate Main Entrance. They will search your bags and instruments. Please ensure that there is no food in your items as you will be asked to return these items to a bus or vehicle which might delay your performance.

All groups will be entering through Gate 5 this season as a new entrance has been made specifically for our festival of music. If you have any questions or concerns, please direct them to Amy Dew at amy.dew@canadaswonderland.com or (905) 832 7502 .

At the end of your performance your adjudicator will present your group with a Performance Appreciation Plaque from Canada’s Wonderland to display in the music room. You will also receive a CD copy of the adjudicator’s comments so you may review with your class at a later date. Please remember to pick up the CD at the end of your performance. Sometimes, if there is enough time, the adjudicator will work with your group but this cannot be arranged or guaranteed.
It is suggested that each group perform three contrasting selections. Music should be no more than 20 minutes in total as you only have a ½ hour for warm up, performance and take down.
Please make sure to bring along extra copies of your music scores for the adjudicator. Original scores are not required. Do not forget to collect your scores at the conclusion of your performance. Uncollected scores will be taken to the Lost and Found Department at Front Gate Guest Services.
